Press Brake Setter/Operator
Rapid Recruit are on the look out for Press Brake Setter/Operators for our client, a metal fabrication company based in Preston, PR2.
The main responsibilities are:
- Setting up and operating press brake machines to bend, form and cut sheet metal according to drawings and specifications
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, engineering drawings and work orders to determine machine setup and production requirements
- Loading and unloading sheet metal onto the press brake machine
- Inspecting finished products for defects or imperfections
- Monitoring machine operation to ensure quality and efficiency.
The successful candidate must be able to read engineering drawings and fold parts to a high standard to customer satisfaction. Amada HFE experience would also be advantageous.
This is a full time role working Monday to Thursday 7am-4pm and Friday’s 7.30am-12.30pm. Overtime is also available.
The rate of pay ranges between £11.00 to £13.00 depending on experience.
