Purchase ledger clerk
Our client is a sucessful packaging company based in Burnley, they are looking to add to their team due to recent re-structuring. The successful candidate will have experience in purchase ledger or a similar role.
The hours of work are Monday – Friday 08:30AM – 5:00PM
The salary is negotiable, depending on experience.
The role includes:
- Code and check invoices
- Work out VAT payments
- Pay out money via BACS or by cheque
- Check and reconcile supplier statements
- File invoices and statements
- Deal with purchase enquiries
- Process staff expenses
The ideal candidate will have:
- Great communications skills
- Self discipline
- Be a strong team player
- Have good awareness of deadlines
- A calm manner when dealing with clients
