Assistant Warehouse Manager

Location: Burnley
Hours: Monday to Thursday 9am–5pm, Friday 9am–4pm
Pay: £28,000–£30,000 per annum (DOE)
Type: Permanent

About the Role

Rapid Recruit are currently looking for an Assistant Warehouse Manager to join our client’s growing team in Burnley. The successful candidate will support the Warehouse Manager in ensuring smooth day-to-day warehouse operations and maintaining high standards of stock control and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• – Oversee daily warehouse operations, including inventory management and stock control
• – Support logistics, team co-ordination and compliance with operational procedures
• – Ensure all health & safety procedures are followed at all times
• – Assist with stock control, inventory accuracy and documentation
• – Lead the warehouse team in the absence of the Warehouse Manager
• – Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and processes.

Requirements

• – Minimum of 1 years’ experience in a supervisory role or similar
• – Experience in stock control, inventory control and management
• – Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
• – Excellent communication and leadership abilities
• – Familiarity with warehouse management software is a bonus
• – Reach Truck Licence is essential.
