Teamwear Designer

Location: Burnley
Hours: Monday to Thursday 9am-5pm and Friday 8am-4pm
Pay: £27,000-£30,000

About the Role

Rapid Recruit are currently looking for a creative, self-motivated Designer on behalf of our client in Burnley. This is a full-time, permanent role. The successful candidate will be a key part of the Teamwear design and operating model, helping to turn customers design ideas into reality as well as creating your own unique designs.

Key Responsibilities

• – Support customers with bespoke Teamwear design requirements, translating ideas into production-ready artwork
• – Collaborate closely with Commercial, Customer Operations, and Supply Operations teams to deliver Made to Order Teamwear
• – Create multisport CAD artwork that aligns with customer briefs and brand guidelines
• – Manage technical design details to balance business expectations with customer requirements
• – Develop new seasonal sublimated design options that are fit for manufacture
• – Lead the design process for key customer accounts
• – Liaise with UK and overseas factories for artwork approval and product development
• – Create design binders to showcase bespoke and stock design options to customers.

Requirements

• – Proficient in using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Adobe PDF
• – Basic knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel
• – Experience in Graphic print design and in the Teamwear market
• – Interest in digital platforms and willingness to learn further technical skills
• – Fashion Design Degree or alternatively a minimum of 4 years’ experience in a similar role.
