Production Operative

Location: Burnley

Hours: Monday to Friday 7am-3pm & 3pm-11pm

Pay: £12.21 per hour

Type: Temporary to permanent

Rapid Recruit are seeking reliable and motivated Production Operatives to join our client’s team, a leading manufacturing company based in Burnley. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic production environment, contributing to the assembly and quality of high-standard products.

Key Responsibilities:

• – Assembling components and products accurately according to specifications and work instructions
• – Conducting quality checks and inspections at various stages of production to ensure products meet company standards
• – Operating basic machinery, hand tools and equipment safely and efficiently
• – Assisting with the setup, adjustment and minor maintenance of production equipment when required
• – Packing and labelling finished products for dispatch
• – Maintaining a clean, organised and safe work environment in line with health and safety regulations
• – Recording production data including quantities produced, materials used and any defects
• – Collaborating with team members and supervisors to meet production targets and deadlines.

Requirements:

• – Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• – Ability to follow instructions and work in a team
• – Previous experience in manufacturing or assembly is a plus, but not essential.
