Machine Operative

Location: Altham

Hours: Days & Nights, 12 hour shifts

Pay: £12.21–£13.06 per hour

Type: Temporary to permanent

Rapid Recruit are on the lookout for Machine Operatives to join our client’s team, a manufacturing company based in Altham. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced production environment, operating machinery and contributing to the high-quality manufacturing of products.

Key Responsibilities:

• – Safely operating manufacturing machinery and equipment to produce high-quality products
• – Monitoring machine performance and reporting any faults/issues to supervisors
• – Performing routine quality checks to ensure products meet company standards
• – Assisting with machine setup, adjustments and minor maintenance as required
• – Maintaining accurate production records, including output and material usage
• – Keeping the work area clean, organised and compliant with health and safety regulations
• – Working effectively as part of a team to meet production targets and deadlines
• – Following standard operating procedures and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

• – Previous experience operating machinery in a manufacturing environment is preferred but not essential.
