Machine Operative

Location: Barnoldswick

Hours: Rotating days & nights, 7am-7pm and 7pm-7am

Pay: £14.26 per hour

Type: Temporary to permanent

Rapid Recruit are currently recruiting Production/Machine Operatives to join a well-established manufacturing company based in Barnoldswick.

This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced production environment, ideal for candidates who are reliable, detail-oriented and comfortable working with machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

• – Operate and monitor production machinery in a fast-paced environment
• – Pour liquid mixtures into machinery for processing and drying into filtration products
• – Unload, inspect and handle finished products safely and efficiently
• – Maintain clean, sterilised work areas and equipment each shift
• – Ensure high standards of hygiene, quality and safety at all times
• – Follow health & safety procedures and use PPE correctly
• – Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and resolve issues quickly.

Requirements:

• – Previous production or machine operative experience is beneficial but not essential
• – Must be comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
• – Willingness to wear full PPE at all times, including face masks
• – Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and hygiene
• – Ability to work both day and night shifts on a rotating basis
• – Reliable, punctual and a good team player.
