Production Controller in Haslingden
Rapid Recruit have a new and exciting opportunity for a Production Controller for our client, a manufacturing company based in Haslingden.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
- Handling enquiries from clients, developing and maintaining positive client relationships
- Identifying client’s needs and offering appropriate products and services
- Processing orders and co-ordinating with other departments to guarantee smooth order fulfilment
- Calculating cost estimates for products, considering factors such as labour and materials
- Raising Purchase Orders for materials required in production
- Creating and maintaining job record cards for each project with relevant information such as specifications and deadlines
- Managing approvals of new designs, ensuring they meet customer standards and requirements
- Monitoring delivery schedules and arranging for the dispatch of finished products to customers.
Position Details:
- Previous experience in manufacturing & internal sales would be advantageous, however is not essential as full training will be given to the right candidate.
The hours of work are Monday to Friday 9am-5pm.
Starting salary is £28k to £31k, dependant on experience.
