Production Supervisor

Location: Burnley
Hours: Monday to Thursday 7am–5pm, Friday 7am–3.30pm
Pay: £27,892.80 per annum
Type: Permanent

About the Role

Rapid Recruit are currently recruiting a Production Supervisor on behalf of our client based in Burnley.

Reporting directly to the Production Co-ordinator, the successful candidate will ensure that all operations are carried out in line with company Health & Safety, Quality, Environmental and Performance standards.

Key Responsibilities

• – Lead, motivate and supervise a team of operatives to achieve safe and efficient production
• – Ensure standards of Safety, Quality, Cost and Performance are understood, maintained and continuously improved
• – Take ownership of performance across allocated assets and team members
• – Act as first point of contact for Production in the absence of the Production Co-ordinator
• – Ensure all company policies, procedures and processes are adhered to at all times
• – Communicate clearly with Line Operatives, ensuring information is understood and feedback is received
• – Ensure all start-up checks are completed correctly and to standard
• – Complete daily production reports accurately and distribute as required
• – Provide flexible support across other operational areas when needed.

Requirements

• – Previous experience leading a team within a manufacturing or production environment
• – Competent in Microsoft Office
• – Open to new ideas and continuous improvement
• – Demonstrates fair, unbiased judgement
• – Self-motivated with a positive, can-do attitude
• – Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage all aspects of a task or project.
