Refuse Collector

Location: Bacup, Rossendale
Hours: Tuesday to Friday, 6:45am – 4:30pm (may be ad hoc)
Pay: £12.21 per hour
Type: Temporary role with potential for permanent employment.

About the Role

Rapid Recruit are currently recruiting Refuse Collectors on behalf of our client in Bacup. This is a fast-paced, physically demanding role working outdoors in all weather conditions.

Key Responsibilities
- – Collecting household, commercial and industrial waste
- – Loading and emptying waste into the collection vehicle
- – Returning bins to their designated collection points
- – Emptying public litter bins
- – Sorting recyclable and non-recyclable waste
- – Identifying and removing hazardous materials.
Requirements
- – Must be willing to work in all weather conditions
- – Must be able to attend work at short notice and be available for standby cover
- – Previous experience is preferred but not essential.
