Stock Controller in Nelson

Key Responsibilities

  1. – Maintaining accurate records of inventory levels, tracking stock movement, monitoring stock levels and identifying discrepancies
  2. – Ensuring inventory levels are sufficient and initiating replenishment orders when necessary
  3. – Inspecting incoming stock for damage or defects and ensuring that all products meet quality standards
  4. – Generating reports on stock levels, stock turnover rates and inventory costs
  5. – Utilizing the company van to safely transfer stock between sites as required
  6. – Operating a forklift to manoeuvre and transport goods around the site
  7. – Arranging stock, labelling shelves and maintaining a clean and orderly workspace
  8. – Collaborating closely with Warehouse personnel, Supervisors and Production Planners.

Position Details

This is a full-time role, working day shifts from Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.

Rate of pay is £12.94 per hour for this role.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a stock control, warehouse administration role or similar
  • Proficient in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and basic computer software (e.g. SAP, Excel, Outlook)
  • Valid driving licence, FLT is also preferred but not essential.
