Van Conversion Technician
Location: Nelson
Hours: Monday to Friday, day shift
Pay: £15.00 per hour
Type: Temporary to permanent.
About the Role
Rapid Recruit is currently looking for a Conversion Technician on behalf of our client in Nelson. This role is working in a fully equipped five-bay workshop and is an opportunity to work with a leading dealership.
Key Responsibilities
- – Transforming vehicles into specific configurations for various purposes such as commercial, recreational or specialised use.
- – Ensuring that modifications meet quality standards and safety regulations
- – Proficiency in using tools and equipment for vehicle modifications, including hand and power tools.
- – Effectively communicating with clients and other team members to understand their needs and deliver high-quality work
- – Keeping detailed records of modifications and ensuring compliance with regulations
- – Providing excellent customer service and support throughout the conversion process.
Requirements
- – Previous experience in body building or conversion.
- – Competent with hand and power tools.
- – Strong practical and problem-solving skills.
- – High attention to detail.
