Production Operative

Location: Burscough

Hours: Monday to Friday 8am-4pm

Pay: £12.21 per hour

Type: Temporary

Rapid Recruit are seeking Production Operatives on behalf of our client, to work as part of a team on a fast-paced production line. The main responsibility is to assist the organisation in maintaining industry standards during the manufacturing process by ensuring the smooth running of the production lines, meeting all production targets.

Key Responsibilities:

• – Work at various stages of a semi-automated production line: packing, product transfer, boxing, palletising
• – Quality checking products to ensure they are are in line with internal quality standards
• – To work competently as a team or individually to meet the set production targets as required
• – Support all site KPI’s including Food Safety Standards, Health and Safety and site Hygiene
• – Transporting finished goods, bill of materials or consumables via the use of a pump truck
• – Assist with clean downs of both machinery and rooms, to the standard required to remove allergens/ pathogens on site
• – Undertake training to meet food legislation requirements
• – Perform additional duties as and when required.

Requirements:

Minimum of 1 year within a similar role (ideally in a food environment).
